On Wednesday 4th March, Y1 had a visit from a veterinary nurse who works for Rosslyn Veterinary Centre in Middlesbrough. After getting to grips with a range of dead sea creatures earlier in the week, Y1 today got the chance to look at and/or touch a range of different animals: a fish, dog, dove, rabbit and tortoise as part of their continuing Science work.
In true dramatic fashion, the dove was released at the front of school to make its own way home! A huge Levendale thank you to the member of staff from Rosslyn Veterinary Centre (and her sister) for coming in with their animals to enhance the experience for our children.
