Stockton Garden of Remembrance, November 2016

Our Head Boy, Head Girl and their respective deputies accompanied Mr Beadnall to the Stockton Garden of Remembrance today to place memorial poppy crosses from the Y6 children on behalf of all staff, children and Governors of Levendale. All crosses had messages of thanks and gratitude from our current Y6 children on the back and were placed in the Garden of Remembrance as part of this year’s Armistice Day commemoration.

They also listened to a short talk by Lt. Col. John Heron from the Durham Light Infantry about the men of Stockton who gave their lives in 1916 during the Great War.
