UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award

We are registered with UNICEF to become a Rights Respecting School:


It is our intention to have achieved L1 of the Award by March 2017.

Our Steering Committee consists of a mix of pupils and staff:

Will and Leo have designed a RRS logo for Levendale:

Phebe (along with Beth, another Y5 girl) have written a letter to David Cameron, the Prime Minister, to request the promotion of all children’s basic human rights at the first World Humanitarian Summit in Turkey on May 23rd and 24th.

We received our Recognition of Commitment from UNICEF in June 2016, an important checkpoint in our journey towards Level 1 accreditation.

At the start of the 2016-2017 academic year, we bade farewell to Allysha, George, Hannah and Matthew as they moved on to secondary school. Our Steering Committee for the 2016-2017 academic year comprises:
